After a year of development, the future of Responsive is finally here. Please help us test this beta version of Responsive v2.0 by downloading it for free now. Keep in mind this is not a production release, and should be used for testing purposes only.

Responsive v2.0 is completely open source and available on Github in our dev branch.
What’s new in this beta:
- New mobile first grid from Bootstrap 3.
- HTML5 support.
- Under-the-hood improvements.
- A new companion plugin allowing you to switch between Responsive based themes interchangeably which will be released soon (not included in this beta).
These improvements unfortunately mean Responsive v2.0 is not compatible with 1.0, meaning customizations will need to be redone. However, we have done our best to future proof v2.0 so that future customizations should be more compatible with future releases.
We know many of you have grown to love and trust the Responsive theme. Responsive has been downloaded over a million times from WordPress.org and is the foundation of thousands of hundreds of thousands of websites which is why we are releasing this beta to make sure we get v2.0 as polished as possible before we release it to everyone.
